WA Trip (III)
17 Jul 05
Fremantle
We got up nice and early today not only because we had to checkout by 10 but also because the girls can't wait to do more shopping at some of the retail stores we saw last night. Big loud posters screaming "SALE!!!" is not something to be trifled with. First order of the day, however, is to get some breakfast. We decided to locate the famous "cappuchino strip" for some caffeine fix. Turns out where we had dinner last night was THE "cappuchino strip". Bery small town siah!! After a quick walk around, we decided on Ginos coz the waiter walking past was carrying drool worthy stuff.
"The pictures on the wall were part of foto freo - an annual photography festival. Reminds me of Flickr."
"Thats my breakfast. "
After breakfast, we hit the streets for some serious shopping. So serious in fact that the boys got a bit upset at us for forgetting the time. We didnt head out for Busselton til almost 1pm.
The sky looked stormy on the way further down south so we prayed hard that it wouldn't rain. Not much to see on way down. Bunbery was the next big town on route to Busselton but this rather ordinary town was pretty dead when we got there at 4pm. There are supposed to pods of dolphins residing in this town but guess we wont be stopping by for a visit. Oh wells.
We finally hit Busselton at 5pm. The restaurant we spotted was just closing. -.-
Good thing we got instructions to our hotel before the waitress closed the door for the day. The view outside was fabulous. We will be back tomorrow for a closer look.
Reaching our hotel 15 minutes later, everyone was so hungry (shopped so much that we had to skip lunch in order to get here before nightfall) that we voted to satisfy our hunger first.
"Thats my dinner...big fat steak with fries. Hungry lah"
