Suicide Bombings

There is yet another suicide bombing reported in the papers. This time in the Philippines.

I haven’t yet read about the whole affair nor do I really want to know about the whodidits and the gory details. There aren’t many articles on the net about it nor has anyone mentioned it on any blogs so far, unlike the London bombings. I think I am getting quite numb about all these stuff. The same goes for all the other unfair and mostly illogical things happening around the world. Things like letting a paedophile re-join society even though he said he is sure he will commit once again if he is let loose. He did just that. Two days after being released.

I sometimes wonder if there is a limit to the number of things happening in the world before everyone gets so used to them that it is just as natural as breathing. Like say, 5000 tragic events happening around the world and then nobody will be shocked by any such news again. Have we reached that quota yet? Is the Philippines event perhaps event number 5001? I wonder…

Add-on: The gates of hell opened a couple of days ago but perhaps this year none of their residents will want to come to earth because its probably better to stay down there.
